2013 Carolina Cup

To kick off the 2013 season the WBPC organized the Carolina Cup with 4 courses: a kids race, a recreational fun race, an open race and an elite race. This is our third year- In 2012, the Carolina Cup was the largest race on the East Coast with over 400 paddlers competing in the first day of races. In 2013, we hope to do the same as last year, only better and with a few twists to make it even more fun. The Carolina Cup is drawing some of the biggest names to Wrightsville Beach this year to compete such as Gold Medal Olympian Larry Cain from Canada, and ten-time Molokai World Champion Jamie Mitchell from Australia. We're also planning a number of really fun events that will make this a true stand up paddle destination event. It'll be one that you can plan a 5-day weekend and bring the family.
