Wrightsville Beach is located 9 miles from Wilmington, which is centrally located on the East Coast, midway between New York and Florida. The major east/west interstate artery I-40 leads to Wilmington, which is also served by U.S. highways 17,74,/76, 117 and 421.
Follow I-40 East to US-117 S/N College Road. Turn left onto Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway and continue onto Eastwood Road. Continue straight onto US-76 East/Wrightsville Avenue to Wrightsville Beach.

Parking & Handicap Information
The Town of Wrightsville Beach has approximately 1,500 metered spaces available for public parking. Meters are monitored from 9am to 6pm every day from March 1st to October 31st. Wrightsville Beach also uses pay stations at some public parking locations. There are 26 pay stations located on the island. Wrightsville Beach also offers pay-by-phone parking for your convenience. If you possess a valid handicapped tag or license plate, you are not required to pay for parking even if you are not in a handicapped space as long as the handicapped tag or license plate is visible. Your pet must always be on a leash while in the Town of Wrightsville Beach. You are required to clean up after your pet, and have the means to do so, at all times, and dispose of pet waste in available trash cans. No pets are allowed on the beach strand from April 1 through September 30. Never leave your animal in a vehicle!
There are several stations containing complimentary dog waste bags just in case you forget to bring your own means of disposal and several dog-friendly water fountains located around the Town of Wrightsville Beach.
